Sales Representative

We are currently looking for an Sales Representative to join our sales team.   As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for actively seeking out new sales opportunities with new customers; maintaining communication with the Plants, Finance, Customers, and Sales team; actively and professionally participating as a member of the sales team and the company.  Additional responsibilities include:

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meeting assigned targets for sales volume, revenue, profitability and strategic objectives
  • Coordinating the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, R&D and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Work closely with operations to support customer needs through various foam applications
  • Utilize company tools to collect market intelligence, contribute to the innovation process with product ideas and market opportunities
  • Identify growth and innovation opportunities
  • Supports customers with processing of RFQs and other information requests in a timely manner
  • Complete requested accounts reports and other requested information in a timely manner

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • A high level of organizational skills and the ability to work remotely and independently
  • 3-5 years Sales experience
  • Professional committed to achieving excellence in sales, with superior communication skills and work ethic.
  • History of consistently achieving or sustaining sales goals.
  • Must possess problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong customer relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) are essential, along with attention to detail
  • Must possess proficient computer skills and be capable in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.)
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a valid passport

  • Analytical and Problem solving skills
  • Self-starter with an inquisitive nature
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate new concepts
  • Technical aptitude regarding operating systems and ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Ability to address and resolve problems and issues as they occur
  • Travel requirements up to 25%
